In honour of National Breastfeeding Week, a poetic tribute to my only functioning breast.
My Left Boob..a limerick
When the one on the right wouldn't work,
The left boob, it's job didn't shirk,
It doubled in size
Before my own eyes
And long gone are the days of its perk.
My Left Boob...an Ode
You have grown my baby well,
You have made his tummy swell,
You have fed him mummy's milk
Among the finest of its ilk,
And when all my babies have gone far
I will buy you a new bra.
My Left Boob....a haiku
Food for a youngling,
Growing so quickly is he,
satisfaction all.
