Luckily today it's high water. Am sure should Hell exist, a fact that I am in some doubt of, that my predilection for all things naughty should get me a VIP pass, I even live in Sin. But to quote Bart Simpson: "All the best bands are affiliated with Satan.", so at least there should be some good gigs.
I digress. Today is not hell, today is high water. Not as high as yesterdays water thankfully. Syd is not very well, and struggling to sleep, so I popped him in his buggy and pottered off for a stroll down by the river, a regular walk for us. But I live in West Dorset so as anyone who has seen the news will know, we have had a smidgen of bother with the rain here this weekend. Yesterday I could not have taken the path I did, as it was under water, today we had to turn back and take a different route a couple of times due to water blocking our way. But Syd slept, and I walked and took a few snaps for posterity.

| This river is normally a few feet wide and ankle height.. |

| We took an alternate route that didn't involve walking in the river! Pretty flowers tho.. |

My sympathy today to the many people in my vicinity that are dealing with water/mud damaged homes today, I feel most fortunate that the worst I got was soggy socks.

Gorgeous photos. But my what dreadful weather you've been having. Hope the summer brightens up for you soon!
