In Bloom

I like flowers, and am lucky enough to have a man who surprises me with bunches at random. I like the fragrance and colour they bring to a room, so I was intrigued by a new idea from Interflora which gives you a whole new level of control over the flowers you choose.

Interflora’s new creation option allows you to design your bouquet from scratch. You can choose hand-tied bunches, or pick a vase, and then build up from there. The flowers can be selected by meaning for those with a poetic heart, or by colour, or just by scrolling through the wide selection. Add some foliage and perhaps a bow and you are done. Once you have made your final choices it is simple to order for collection from a local Interflora florist, or delivery to an address of your choosing. You can also save your design to use later, share them via social media, or send them via email if you want to drop a huge hint to a particular person!

I opted to have my vibrant bouquet made up as I feel like I could do with a splash of colour at the moment, and here is the finished result :-

 I am rather proud of myself as I think it is bloomin' fab! And it will look even better in a day or two when the lilies come into bloom. Who knew I had an eye for these things....(thank goodness for the talent of the florist who was tasked with putting it together for me!). This bouquet cost around £55 including delivery, but prices vary depending on your choices, and you could make something stunning for less than I spent, or if budget is no issue you could let your imagination run wild! I think it's a lovely way of making flowers a more personal choice, and would definitely use the service again for special bouquets,
