Snippets of Christmas

Syd, on Christmas Eve, past bedtime, holding an orange root vegetable aloft like Excalibur, shouting ‘Reindeer, I got a carrot for you!’

Max saying ‘Thank you Father Christmas’, then rushing to whisper ‘Thank you mummy’ in my ear after he opened each of his many stocking gifts.

The teen spent most of the day wearing a Miranda mask. Of all the things she received, that was the cheapest, yet the most enjoyed. Watching her dance with Syd to the Pogues while wearing it was an entertaining sight indeed.

Moments of hilarity playing pointless- random guesses being right, and lack of general knowledge leading to some funny answers. Who knew Donald Duck once hosted the Oscars?!

The boyfriend creating elaborate facial piercings with bits of Cracker decoration…

Syd likes sprouts. The traitor.

A tree surrounded by gifts. We were all spoilt with lovely, lovely things. The Minion Glasses raised some giggles!

Doctor Who was brilliant as always. I may have cried, but got interrupted twice by a small chap struggling to sleep. I will miss Matt Smith, but am looking forward to seeing what Peter Capaldi brings.

A lovely day of too much chocolate, too many gifts, lots of laughter, a tasty dinner, and lots of cuddles. Pretty much perfect actually.

How was yours?

Love Miss Cisco XXX

Sounds like a good Christmas 🙂 Love that Max keeps Father Christmas alive for Syd, but shows his gratitude to you.

What a wonderful post – sounds like you all had a great time! Our toddler turned 3 on Christmas Day so it was a little hectic but lovely 🙂

A very Merry Christmas! I LOVE that Miranda mask – need to get one for myself. Ours was similarly brilliant – though we had two little people in the household who still believe in Santa, so no need for the whispered thanks 🙂
