A Walk In The Woods

We had a family walk in the woods on Monday, my parents, all five of their grandchildren and I went to Thorncombe Woods for a wander. It was lovely to see my boys having such a lovely time with their cousins, and my daughter enjoyed borrowing a dog for the occasion. The fog gave everything an extra air of magic and the boys took seriously a quest to spot fungus. A gorgeous morning in lovely company, a last blow away of the cobwebs before the return to school on Tuesday.

Yes, a few miles outside Dorchester , nice length circular walk with kids and a new cafe that I havent checked out yet. Look for Thomas Hardys Cottage to find it x

Oh what beautiful photos – the one with the water and horses could be a poster, gorgeous. I love walks like this, as you say, perfect for blowing away the cobwebs.
