OK, OK, I know I already wrote about this years Camp Bestival, but I wanted to do an extra post with some more of my photos – the ones from the evenings. The sunsets are always spectacular at Camp B, and the whole place takes on an extra magical feel after dark.
One particularly stunning thing this year was Celestial Dreaming :-
“A stunning, interactive installation designed by our glowing friends And Now:, take your family on a voyage through the infinite possibilities of an enchanting solar system filled with glistening constellations, cosmic relics and storytelling star gazers. As the sun sets Celestial Dreaming will radiate the burnished light of 450 points of fire arranged in incandescent orbits, celebrating the majestic brilliance of the universe. One of the most exquisitely breath-taking spectacles you’re likely to see at a festival, Celestial Dreaming is your chance to get lost in space.”
That is what they said, and this is how it looked……beautiful!
And of course the highlight of the nights at Camp Bestival is the closing firework display on the Sunday night. My photos didn’t come out brilliantly (mostly because the Bowie section made me cry and I lost all focus from then on!) – but it was a sight and sound extravaganza…..every year I am blown away by them!
And here is the official footage of those incredible fireworks…..
We are already looking forward to next year’s Camp Bestival – early bird tickets are on sale now, and payment plans to spread the cost are available – find the details here, are you tempted? Go on – you won’t regret it!

Beautiful photos – there certainly were some stunning sunsets at Camp Bestival this year. I was in floods at the Bowie section too -getting goosebumps just thinking about it. xx

We loved Celestial Dreaming. it captivated us each night as we went back to the tent. The boys could have stood and watched it all night. I still can not believe that we didn’t meet!
