Boredom Board.

In anticipation of the start of the school holidays next week, here is my genius, non-patented, cost two quid, summer holiday boredom busting plan- when anyone utters the dreaded words ‘I’m bored’ we will look at this board and pick an activity.
Frogs Head Optional.
We are going to add things to do as we think of them, but any suggestions are desperately gratefully received…. It’s a long six weeks when you can’t afford a holiday, and entertainment needs to be cheap and cheerful, and judging from the weather thus far, mostly indoors….

Obviously there is another secret mummy only bored board – that list looks more like this….

Eat cake.
Eat chocolate.
Drink wine.
Scream into pillows.
Hide on twitter.
Say ‘mmmmm’ in a non-committal way a lot.
Go to a spa leaving the kids with anyone who will have them. Ok that one’s wishful thinking.

How will you beat the boredom….pleeeeaaassee let me know, we will have run out of ideas by the end of week one!

Definitely get outdoors, the garden, the park, the beach or the woods. then join me over on Country Kids! Physically tired kids squabble less – or at least it works for mine.
