It’s Christmas!

The lovely Sarah at MumofThree World has asked me to have a go at this list Christmas questions, so here goes..

What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?

Tricky to pick just one.

I love Christmas Eve, with new pyjamas, and reading ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’, then hanging stockings, and leaving out mince pies for Father Christmas.

I love seeing the kids open their presents on Christmas morning.
I love a large baileys, a box of chocolates and the Doctor Who Christmas special.

What’s your favourite make-up look for the festive season?

Same as every other day. A big sweep of black eye liner, and a bit of smudged red lippy if I can be arsed.

Real or fake trees?

Real. I LOVE real trees. I love the smell, I love the colour, I love the presence they bring. I like a big real tree covered in an electric mix of homemade, traditional and kitsch nonsense, and a myriad of lights. This year tho Syd is 16 months and a deadly tugger/climber of things, so we have decided that perhaps it was safer to opt for something small and out of reach. Meet this years tree….

I shall name her ‘Misty’, if you are going fake, go all out fake I say! I like her, she’s pretty, but next year she will have to share the limelight with a big green real one!

Giving or receiving presents?

Giving! I love buying and giving presents. Especially to the kids. I hate wrapping tho and leave that to the other half whenever possible!

Do you open your presents in the morning or evening?

Both. Stockings first thing, main presents after breakfast and everything else after dinner. Spread the fun through out the day!

What’s your favourite Christmas film?

It’s a Wonderful Life and The Santa Clause. Totally different com each other, but each brilliant. Am really looking forward to seeing Arthur Christmas this year too.

What’s your favourite Christmas food?

Gosh. Um. Can I say all of it? I love a roast with a bit of everything, lots of flavours and textures, and sauces, and gravy! I love mince pies. I love chocolate. I love Christmas Cake. Probably easier to say what I DON’T like – sprouts and Christmas pudding. Yuk.
