Skeletal Trees and Winter Walking

I am slightly obsessed with taking photos of trees at the moment. There is something about their skeletal arms against a winter sky that I just can’t resist. Anyone who follows me on Instagram will see my phone snaps from most school runs, and this morning I headed out with my daughter and my proper camera to take some more pics of these winter beauties. Oh, and a duck. And some grass.  The low glow of the sun on a bright winter’s day is just so gorgeous isn’t it.

The winter sunshine really is so stunning isn’t it? And with the wintry trees in the foreground, that top photograph is stunning. What a lovely moment. Nice to you have your girl home? x

Fantastic photos! The light at this time of year is stunning and one of the few things that make winter bearable. I’ve been enjoying the silhouettes of the trees too, but haven’t tried photographing them with my proper camera.
It must have been lovely to have your girl home! 🙂

Gorgeous Sonya! I do love it when it’s sunny in winter, makes such a difference doesn’t it even when it’s cold. We had a beautiful day last week, bright blue skies – it was lovely x
