Peanut Butter and White Chocolate Blondies

  • 125g plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 100g butter
  • 150g crunchy peanut butter
  • 150g light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of golden syrup
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100g white chocolate chips
  1. Melt the butter
  2. Pour the melted butter into a bowl with the peanut butter and golden syrup and mix well.
  3. Stir through the sugar until well combined.
  4. Beat the egg and stir into the mixture.
  5. Add the flour and baking powder and combine.
  6. Stir through the white chocolate chips.
  7. Pour into a brownie tray and cook at 170 degrees for approx 30 minutes until brown and firm on top.
  8. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
  9. Sprinkle with icing sugar if desired.
