Quirky and Pretty Gift Guide #MerryGivemas

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I always start mine as soon as my son’s birthday is over in the hope I don’t end up panic shopping on Christmas Eve!

Living in a small town without a vast array of shops means I do a lot of my shopping online, and this year I have found a way to help raise a little for charity while I am doing it. Signing up with Give as you Live means that your purchases made via their website raise cash for charity without costing you a penny. The majority of the usual online shops are part of the scheme and each time you buy something an average of 2.5% of your purchase price goes to your chosen charity. Have a look at their website here – it is really easy to do, and you can do some good while overspending – which makes me feel better about it!

I love something a bit unusual, a bit vintage and always pretty, so I have gathered together a quirky and pretty gift guide of some of my favourite bits and bobs that would make it onto my list for Santa.

biscuit cushion

Everyone knows I am partial to a biscuit, so I adore these biscuit cushions from Not On The High Street. Which design would you go for? I am rather fancying the party ring one! Find them here for £22.

flamingo snowglobe

Flamingos are everywhere this year, which pleases me as I have always loved their kitsch colourfulness. I spotted this Flamingo Snowglobe on Not On The High Street and am a little bit in love with it! If you fancy adding a touch of tropical to your Winter home, then this is for you! Find it here for £11.50.

normal_retro-light-up-love-heart-metal-sign

My last pick from Not On The High Street and this is one I recommend as someone who loved it so much they bought it! This lovely retro light up love sign oozes old-fashioned fairground charm. It looks fab in my lounge, and I am sure I am not the only one who loves it’s vintage allure. Find it here for £36.

unicorn tears gin liquer

Next up is this rather superb bottle of Unicorn Tears Gin Liqueur from Firebox. Have no idea what it tastes of, but the name bought such a smile to my face, and I have several friends who I know would love this quirky titled gin-filled joy. It has glitter in and everything! Find it here for £39.99.

random crap box

Another item from Firebox next. If you are like me then you have a lot of random crap. We all need somewhere to keep it. I love the juxtaposition of the prettiness and the word crap. It pleases me. If it please you too you can find it here for £10.99.

multi square frame

Next up a couple of items from John Lewis. I adore this frame, I have been getting my favourite instagram pictures printed, and this is the perfect size to display them. If you have an instagram fan in your life this would make a great gift for them. Find it here for £30.00.

vintage look chinese garden teapot

Oddly I don’t drink tea but still love tea pots, and this one is really floating my boat this year. Such a pretty design and would look gorgeous on display in my kitchen. Find it here for £39.99.

peacock satchel

My last item is a bag from Paperchase. I am not usually one to suffer from bag related giddiness, but this peacock covered satchel has got me coveting like a crazy thing. Find it here for £30.

That is the lot from me, did anything there take your fancy? And don’t forget, please check out Give as you Live, do some good while you shop – and Merry Givemas!

Love Miss Cisco XXX

Ooh some lovely items here Sonya. Especially love the love light (totally see why you got it!) and the photo frame. My daughter’s birthday is on Christmas Day so I’m a bit in denial about it all again but should probably get a burn on!
